Professor Sir David Edward is Professor Emeritus at the School of Law, University of Edinburgh. Awarded KCMG, 2004; CMG, 1981. Admitted Advocate, 1962; QC (Scotland), 1974; Judge of the Court of First Instance, 1989-92; Judge of the Court of Justice of the European Communities, 1992-2004.
