Research Topic
'The Exclusionary Rule of Evidence in the United Kingdom, United States and China'
Doctoral Research

The exclusionary rule is the one of the most difficult, controversial and complex doctrine in criminal procedure and evidence law. This rule is multifaceted and ever-changing. Some of the previous studies are insufficient and incomplete in terms of their scope and depth.

The structure of the research is as follows. First, the study presents the contours of the rule. Second, it analyses the interactions of the court, exclusionary rule and police. Third, it develops a framework for applying the rule in a technological surveillance world and provides approaches that constitute the basis for reform of the rule.
