You-Hung Lin is a PhD candidate at the University of Edinburgh School of Law. He earned his LLM degree from Washington University in St. Louis (St. Louis, the United States) and LLB from National Taipei University (Taipei, Taiwan). Prior to his PhD pursuit, You-Hung worked as a legal consultant at ChungHwa Telecom, the major telecommunications company in Taiwan, where he was responsible for legal-policy analysing and negotiation with the regulator. He also served as an adjunct lecturer at TamKang University Business School and School of Public Administration (2008-2011), teaching Commercial Law and Constitution Law, respectively.
You-Hung’s research interests are in Telecom Law, Competition Law and their relation to Constitution Law.
Beyond law studying, You-Hung is a fanatic ichthyologist and paleontologist, and has published several papers in these fields.
