Lecturer in Commercial Law shares expertise with a delegation of Bahraini judges

Edinburgh Law School's Lorna Richardson, Lecturer in Commercial Law, took part in a Beyond Borders Scotland presentation on Wednesday 1st February, speaking to a delegation of Bahraini judges on what lawyers appearing in court expect from judges.

The session was part of a training programme set up by Beyond Borders Scotland for the Bahraini judges, who are visiting Scotland to learn about how the Scottish court system works, with a view to developing the court system in Bahrain.

Lorna is one of many Edinburgh Law School staff who are regularly invited to speak with members at the highest levels of the legal profession across the globe and share their expertise. She teaches on the LLM courses, Contract Law in Europe and Principles of Insurance Law and is Programme Director of the LLM in International Commercial Law and Practice by Online Distance Learning.
