On 30th March the Centre for Professional Legal Studies at Edinburgh Law School, formerly the Legal Practice Unit, will move to its new premises at 7 Bristo Square. 

On 30th March the Centre for Professional Legal Studies at Edinburgh Law School, formerly the Legal Practice Unit, will move to its new premises at 7 Bristo Square. 

The University of Edinburgh is one of the seven Scottish universities to offer a course leading to the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice. This is a postgraduate vocational qualification which is the first stage in the process of Professional Education and Training (known as PEAT1). It is required by the Law Society of Scotland and the Faculty of Advocates for all intending solicitors and advocates.
