Dr Elisa Morgera, Lecturer in European Environmental Law, is part of a team of international consultants involved in a research project of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) on the Integration of Multilateral Environmental Agreements in Climate Adaptation.  The official website of the project has just been launched.

The project aims to identify areas for synergistic work of multilateral environmental agreements (MEA) in relation to adaptation to climate change, and opportunities for integrating climate change adaptation across biodiversity-related laws at the national level. The IUCN Environmental Law Centre (ELC), in combination with the IUCN Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Office (ESARO), is addressing this challenge by building national adaptive governance capacity in Least Developed Country governments and institutions addressing biodiversity and natural resources.
