Diploma in Legal Practice students will be performing a series of monologues to raise funds for Victim Support Scotland at the Pleasance Cabaret Bar, on Thursday 11 and Friday 12 March 2010.

This is part of VDay2010, in association with Edinburgh-based theatre company, SpartaKi. The students will be joined on stage by two of their lecturers, Elaine Tyre and Andrew Steven.

Led by Eve Ensler and supported by numerous celebrities, V-Day is the organisation behind several award winning productions and A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant And A Prayer (Writings to end violence against women and girls) is their recent groundbreaking collection of monologues by world-renowned authors and playwrights. There will be an introduction from guest speakers from Victim Support Scotland to whom all proceeds will be donated. This is guaranteed to be a highly entertaining and uplifting evening for all.
The monologues will be followed by live music provided by student performers.
