SCOLAR 2010

The next Scots Law Research conference will take place on Friday 21 May 2010 in Lecture Theatre 175 in the University of Edinburgh's Old College.

The next Scots Law Research conference will take place on Friday 21 May 2010 in Lecture Theatre 175 in the University of Edinburgh's Old College.

The organising committee is delighted to announce that Lord Rodger of Earlsferry will be giving the keynote address.  The purpose of this conference is to provide a forum for academic presentation, discussion and debate, and to facilitate greater co-operation between those working on Scots law. It is aimed at all those who have an interest in the development of Scottish legal scholarship. The main part of the day will consist of presentations by early-career lawyers, which will be discussed by all present. Discussion was lively and stimulating in 2008, due in no small part to the varied demographic and the enthusiasm of the attendees.

The conference is free.  Please email scolar@live.co.uk to register for a place.
