MLR Scholarship Awarded to Tom Flynn

Congratulations to Tom Flynn, who is about to start the second year of his PhD and has been awarded a Modern Law Review scholarship for the 2010 to 2011 academic year.

Congratulations to Tom Flynn, who is about to start the second year of his PhD and has been awarded a Modern Law Review scholarship for the 2010–11 academic year.

Tom holds a BCL (International) from University College Cork (during which he studied for a year at St Louis University) and an LLM from the University of Edinburgh.

Using Irish Supreme Court jurisprudence as the basis of an empirical case-study, his PhD thesis  examines the law, practice and theory of judicial review (particularly constitutional review) within the European Union and Council of Europe with reference to the theory of constitutional pluralism.
