'Eurodevils' on Work Placement

The thirteen 'Eurodevils', who joined us as part of the European Lawyers Programme (ELP) in January, have now completed the first part of their programme, the academic section, and are today embarking on the second stage which sees them out in the world of legal practice.

The thirteen 'Eurodevils', who joined us as part of the European Lawyers Programme (ELP) in January, have now completed the first part of their programme, the academic section, and are today embarking on the second stage which sees them out in the world of legal practice.

From Monday 01 March until Friday 09 April, the qualified European Lawyers will be experiencing first-hand what it is like to be a practising solicitor in the UK.  Placements are varied in what they cover and hosts include: The Scottish Government; McLay, Murray & Spens; Burness; Turcan Connell; Dundas & Wilson; Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service; Capital Defence solicitors and Office of Employment Tribunals, to name but a few.

We sincerely hope the Eurodevils will enjoy this part of their experience and get a lot out of it - as we know the firms and organisations will.
