EUDO CITIZENSHIP Conference held at Edinburgh Law School

The 2nd Plenary EUDO CITIZENSHIP Conference was held at the University of Edinburgh from Thursday 21 – Friday 22 January 2010. 

The 2nd Plenary EUDO CITIZENSHIP Conference was held at the University of Edinburgh from Thursday 21 – Friday 22 January 2010. 

A network of over 60 national and international experts on nationality and citizenship from more than 40 countries gathered on this occasion to compare and discuss citizenship policies in Europe.

The Conference presented the first comparative reports produced as part of the EUDO CITIZENSHIP Project, co-directed by Jo Shaw (also Principal Investigator on the CITSEE project) and Rainer Bauböck (European University Institute, Florence) and funded by the European Commission Directorate General for Freedom, Security and Justice.  The Conference was organised by Lisa Pilgram, EUDO Research Fellow based at the University of Edinburgh.

In addition, the Conference attenders heard four comparative papers delivered by colleagues from the IMISCOE Network of Excellence who were selected on the basis of responses to a call for papers.
