Martin Krygier, Gordon Samuels Professor of Law and Social Theory at the University of New South Wales, will present a talk entitled 'Four puzzles about the rule of law: why, what, where? And who cares?'

Professor Krygier is one of the world's leading sociologists of law and a leading authority on the idea of the Rule of Law in comparative context.

Prominent previous lecturers in this well-known series include Jurgen Habermas, Zygmaunt Bauman, Brian Barry, Andrew Von Hirsch, David Garland, Antony Duff, David Smith, Doreen McBarnett and Neil MacCormick.
