A paper written by a team of CREATE PhD students and early career researchers under the supervision of Professor Burkhard Schafer has been nominated as one of the “top ten” papers at this year’s IRIS conference.
The IRIS conference, held this year in Salzburg, is widely considered to be the leading conference on IT and Law in continental Europe.
The Edinburgh team will find out on Thursday 26th February if they will win one of the top prizes in a closely fought competition.
“Capacity Building is a key concern not just of CREATE, but all of the PhD Programme in Edinburgh. For a group of researchers this young to get nominated for this prestigious award is testimony of the quality of our postgraduate students and the excellent support they get in Edinburgh to make the transition to academic careers,” said Professor Schafer.
