Professor Burkhard Schafer invited as a panellist to INDustrial TECHnologies 2018

Professor of Computational Legal Theory and Director of the SCRIPT Centre will present in Vienna on October 31, 2018

Professor Burkhard Schafer will represent the SCRIPT Centre as an invited panellist at INDustrial TECHnologies 2018 - Innovative industries for smart growth” (INDTECH2018) in Vienna on October 31. 

INDTECH2018, an event of the Austrian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, combines keynote presentations, talks, a matchmaking event and exhibitions to bring together experts from industry, academia and policy to exchange information and to strengthen collaboration. INDTECH2018 is anticipating 1000 participants from more than 30 countries in Europe and across the globe.

Professor Schafer will be joined on a panel on "Artificial Intelligence/ Ethical Issues of Data Management” by Juha Heikkilä from the European Commission's DG CONNECT, Prof. Philip Brey from the University of Twente and Torsten Osthus from OSTHUS GmbH. The discussion will be moderated by Doris Schroecker from the European Commission's DG Research & Innovation
