Edinburgh Law School and Global Justice Academy are delighted to announce that applicants are being sought for a fully funded PhD studentship.
The scholarship is being supported by funding from UK Aid (DFID) through the Political Settlements Research Programme and is available to start in January 2016.
The Political Settlements programme is multidisciplinary and proposals will be expected to reflect a commitment to that approach. The successful applicant will be expected to play a full part within the Political Settlements research team and undertake programme building tasks relating to their area of study.
The PhD proposal should address some aspect of political settlements, with a focus on fragile and conflict-affected states. Applicants should familiarise themselves with the Political Settlements Research Programme (PRSP)’s work and respond to it. Further details of the PRSP’s undertakings are available here.
The closing date for applications for both the PhD and the scholarship is 31 October 2015. Further information about this opportunity including eligibility, selection criteria, award amount and how to apply is available here.
