Edinburgh Law School students will have the chance to practise their interview skills with representatives from leading law firms, as part of the School’s programme of events for Innovative Learning Week.
During the sessions, students will receive individual feedback on a mock interview performance with a hiring manager in the profession.
Students will also have the chance to develop their advocacy skills during a workshop led by the Law School’s Mooting Society and learn more about how to use social media for legal research and professional networking.
They will also be able to find out more about the work of the Scottish Law Commission at an informal lunch with current commissioners Professor Hector MacQueen and Dr Andrew Steven from Edinburgh Law School.
Now in its fourth year, Innovative Learning Week is the University of Edinburgh’s annual festival of creative learning. It is to run from 16-20 February.
To find out more about what events Edinburgh Law School is offering during this week, search the Innovative Learning Week calendar. You’ll find all Law School events by selecting “School of Law” and selecting both “All Law Students” and “all students”.
