Edinburgh team crowned Best Newcomers in space mooting challenge

A student team from Edinburgh Law School has been awarded Best Newcomers in the European round of the Manfred Lachs Space Moot Competition in Belgrade.

Laura Keogh, LLM in Innovation, Law and Technology, and Colin Severin, Graduate LLB, achieved second place after making the final of the European round in Edinburgh's debut appearance in the competition.

The Manfred Lachs Space Moot is organised annually by the International Institute of Space Law (IISL).

The Edinburgh team’s participation in the mooting contest was supported by the Scottish Centre for International Law and the Script Centre for IT and IP law.
