The annual walk is designed to raise money for access to justice
The autumnal Edinburgh drizzle did not dampen spirits on Monday 1 October, as over 80 members of the legal profession, students, charities and Law School staff walked for access to justice.
The Honourable Lord Tyre CBE, Patron of the Free Legal Advice Centre, motivated walkers with an inspirational speech before leading walkers around 10k route. Organised by the Access to Justice Foundation in collaboration with the Edinburgh Centre for Professional Legal Studies, this annual event raises money for local charities and organisations offering free legal advice and support to hose most in need.
The event is supported by the Law Society of Scotland and the Scottish Young Lawyers Association. Donations can still be made online here.
