Academics speak at high-profile conference in Bilbao

Dr Veronica Ruiz Abou-Nigm and Dr Simone Lamont-Black gave papers at IX European Colloquium of Maritime Law Research

Edinburgh Law School's Dr Veronica Ruiz Abou-Nigm, Lecturer in International Private Law, and Dr Simone Lamont-Black, Lecturer in International Trade Law, spoke at a high-profile Colloquium in Bilbao on the 14th and 15th of September.

The IX European Colloquium of Maritime Law Research 2016 was entitled "Maritime Liens, Mortgages and Forced Sale". Dr Lamont-Black spoke on "The Carrier's Lien: English and German Law" whilst Dr Abou-Nigm's paper focused on "Maritime Liens in the Conflict of Laws Revisited".
