The conveners of the IP IT Media Law Discussion Group would like to invite all students, researchers and staff to the February meeting of the IP IT Media Law Discussion Group. 

Please feel free to bring your lunch to this afternoon session which is being held next Friday 21 February from 12:00-13:00 in the Ken Mason Suite in Old College. 

In light of recent landmark rulings in the area of copyright infringement, Andrew Black, CREATe Research Assistant at the University of Edinburgh, will give the presentation ‘Resistance is Futile? Copyright and Piracy in the Online Environment’. His presentation will be followed by discussion from the floor on future directions in copyright protection and piracy online.
