Speaker: Dr Adam Wyner

Location: Conference Room, David Hume Tower

There is increasing activity around making the law (legislation, regulations, case law, etc) web-accessible.  This then requires that the text of the law be made machine-readable, implying that the text is processed and enriched with some form of annotation or markup.  The talk outlines several recent initiatives and developments to annotate the law, including why one would want to do it, what would be done, and how one would do it.
