Edinburgh Law School's home in Old College is currently undergoing extensive refurbishment. During this time we will be located at the David Hume Tower, George Square, Edinburgh, EH8 9JX.

Travelling to Edinburgh and the Law School

By Rail:

There are two railway stations in central Edinburgh; Edinburgh Waverley and Haymarket. Both are a manageable walk from the Law School and have excellent links across Scotland, England and Wales. 

By Air:

Edinburgh Airport has excellent links to Europe and the rest of the world, with many daily flights to some of the world's biggest cities. Details about flights to Edinburgh can be found on the Edinburgh Airport website.

From the airport there are several buses and a regular tram that travel to the Centre of Edinburgh. Details of these services can be found on the Lothian Buses website.

By bus and tram:

Edinburgh boasts one of the UK's best bus services and trams run by Lothian Buses. There are many different services running frequent routes across the city of Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. For more information and to plan your journey by bus or tram visit the Lothian Buses website.

By car:

There are many car rental companies based in Edinburgh and available for collection from Edinburgh Airport. Most parking in Edinburgh is paid or restricted to permit holders. Visitors to the University can apply for a temporary parking permit and more information on this can be found on the University's Transport webpages.

By bicycle:

Edinburgh has a large number of cycle only paths and cycle lanes throughout the city. The city has recently launched a cycle hire scheme.
