In memory of our valued friend and colleague Neil MacCormick, who died from cancer on 5th April 2009, we have launched The Professor Sir Neil MacCormick Fund. Neil will be greatly missed by his many friends, colleagues and students and in memory of his contribution to legal scholarship, academia and Edinburgh Law School we are establishing the Professor Sir Neil MacCormick Fund.

The Fund will be used to establish on an annual or a biannual basis the 'MacCormick lectures' - an integrated series of lectures on a chosen theme by a single speaker-and a Scholarship in his name.
