21st Century Teaching
21st Century teaching roadshow – School of Law – Wednesday 10th March

The roadshow will show you how you can use various technologies to support and enhance your teaching. Tools such as lecture capture and wikis are already being used here in the School of Law by colleagues and we hope to hear from them during the roadshow, but you’ll also find out how new technologies are supporting teaching in Law and in a range of different subject areas throughout the University.

The roadshow will also tell you more about the facilities and support available to support your activities, before demonstrating new developments in e-learning technology to inspire you!

You’ll have the chance to ask questions of the speakers, discuss the technologies and topics covered, and get ideas as to how they can support your teaching.

While there are a lot of topics that can be covered during the roadshow, it won’t be possible to present an exhaustive programme of topics. Below are some of the topics that are possibilities for discussion. If you’d like to see particular topics covered, please let us know your preferences, or indeed if you have any suggestions for topics that you’re already thinking about using, please email us at: 21stcenturyteaching.law@ed.ac.uk

The roadshow will take place in the Moot Court Room between 2pm and 4pm.

We’ll be updating this page on an ongoing basis, as we get feedback and suggestions, so please keep an eye on developments!

The roadshow programme has now been finalised and you can find further details below. There's no need to book a place in advance, but if you could get in touch to let us know that you'll be attending, that would be great.
