Welcome to the website of the Edinburgh Festival of Legal Theory!

The Festival is being held at the School of Law, Old College, South Bridge, Edinburgh from Wednesday 28 May 2008 to Sunday 1 June 2008.

Events include:

• The AHRC Doctoral Colloquium, 28-29 May, under the theme Dead/Lines: Contemporary Issues in Legal and Political Theory;
• The UK IVR Conference, 30-31 May, under the theme New Directions in Legal and Social Theory;
• Two book launches in the Festival Book Launch, 31 May;
• A series of Independent Workshops, 1 June; and
• A number of Social Events.

Two publishers, Springer and Ashgate, will have stalls at the UK IVR Conference.
