The study team are in the process of seeking funding to carry out a seventh sweep of data collection for the study. If funding is awarded, the next phase of the research will focus on: the transfer from the youth to the adult criminal justice system; youth labour market transitions and crime; physical and mental health; and families, relationships and sexual health. It is planned that this will take place in January 2009 when most cohort members will be aged 21/22. Future sweeps of the study will computer-assisted interviewing rather than paper questionnaires.  People living outside Edinburgh will be asked to participate either on-line or over the telephone.
