Legal History Discussion Group |
The Legal History Discussion Group is an informal discussion group made up of members of the Law School at Edinburgh University as well as of enthusiasts of legal history from elsewhere. It was founded in 1985 as forum to discuss current research and to present preliminary research findings. It meets on the last Wednesday of each semester in Room 364. At these meetings, two speakers are invited to present papers. One paper usually takes the format of a small discussion of ongoing research or preliminary research findings [book reviews are also welcomed], while the other paper is usually of more substance. The organiser of the LHDG is Professor Hector MacQueen.
