Introduction
Our new LLM in Law by online distance learning offers an exciting and flexible range of modules. It provides an ideal learning environment for you to develop the skills and knowledge upon which further study or a relevant career can be built.
The programme offers breadth and flexibility, enabling you to choose modules that best reflect your personal and professional interests, without necessarily specialising in one area of law.
Students on the LLM in Law will have a free choice of six modules from the full range of 19 LLM modules available. It is therefore one of the richest in terms of quality and module options available on the global market.
Programme overview
The programme enables you to study a wide range of subject areas within the discipline and aims to promote advanced knowledge and understanding of the law within international, European and domestic settings.
The programme spans foundational issues in areas of law including:
- Commercial law
- Information technology law
- Intellectual property law
- Medical law
- Innovation and competition law
Having studied the programme, you will emerge with an understanding of legal issues not just in the legal context, but with a sound grounding in ethics, social and theoretical contexts.
Module information
We are pleased to announce that we have added six new modules to our already wide range of Masters modules for 2012/13.
The LLM in Law requires that you complete a total of 6 modules (120 credit points) and complete a dissertation (60 credit points) over your chosen period of study. Please note the available choice of modules in any given year may change.
