Online distance learning LLM module information
Our online LLM module provision is one of the richest in terms of quality and module options available on the global market enabling students to choose modules that best reflect their personal and professional interests. With six new modules for 2012/13 we are further increasing the breadth and depth that students can choose from.
Module options
The LLM programme requires the student to successfully complete six modules, from a selection of 19 modules. The available choice of modules in any given year may alter so please check the programme page for availability.
What is a module?
Each module spans a semester* and is a collection of activities, discussions, debates, prescribed readings, assessment and further research. (*of which there are two in a single academic year and include 10 weeks of teaching and further assessment weeks)
Module time requirement
Each module requires approximately 200 hours of study, which is devoted to online activity, research in preparation for activities, and assessment. Students will generally spend between 10 and 15 hours a week on each module.
