The Observatory provides up-to-the-minute news and analysis on technological and IP-related developments in Scotland. The site covers the full spectrum of industrial and creative sectors-from the pioneering research in the life sciences, IT and nanotechnology that is being conducted at Scottish universities and research institutes to news on the creative arts and more traditional Scottish industries, such as whisky distilling. The Observatory aims to provide a central resource for the study of the intersection of intellectual property law, creativity and inventiveness in Scotland.
